Over the last few weeks I have been really considering purchasing my very first 15″ MacBook Pro to use as my general machine as well as web development work. I’m also considering buying an OEM version of windows vista for dual booting purposes which will be supported by Parallels.
Adobe have announced the new batch of creative suites catered for web designers/developers. The CS3 packages look very interesting and especially DreamWeaver CS3. DW now includes features to support AJAX based websites and a lot more integration between all applications. I’m really looking forward to these applications but unfortunatley my current system doesn’t meet the minimum requirements so that’s an excuse for me to buy a new machine, possibly a new macbook pro.
As a front end developer, knowing the most commonly used languages is paramount to the development of a website. After much resource hunting, online reading, and question asking I have finally created my first wordpress theme. It has definatley been a learning experience which i thoroughly enjoyed and i hope to create more themes in future. In addition I have also integrated a flickr feed as well as my xbox360 gamertag which can found at the footer.
The theme is simple but i hope to add further features as time goes on. For now that’s it.
Yesterday i went to the Boagworld meetup at London, it was fun, loads of people turned up and it was awesome to finally meet all the online members. Pictures have been uploaded to flickr by leesy and Paul.
